About The Role

As a Business Development Representative at Ogury Japan, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. 

You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to generate leads, engage potential clients, and set up meetings for our Sales Managers. 

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, and passionate about digital advertising and technology.

Reporting to our Country Director, this role is based in our Tokyo office where we encourage our team to join us in office 2-3 days per week.

What you will do:

  • Identify and research potential clients within the digital advertising and adtech industry
  • Initiate contact with prospects through various channels including cold calls, emails, and social mediaQualify leads and assess their needs to determine potential fit with Ogury’s solutions
  • Schedule meetings and product demos for Sales Managers with qualified prospects
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and refine outreach strategies
  • Track and manage leads using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Provide feedback to the team on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs

What you will bring to Ogury:

  • Prior experience in a sales, business development, or lead generation role, preferably within the adtech or digital advertising industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Japanese
  • Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technology solutions
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with a strong desire to achieve goals
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
  • A passion for digital advertising and an interest in emerging technologies
