Our team grew from 90 people to over 150 people in 2024. We’ve got top talent from the most successful companies in SMB software like Shopify, HubSpot, DoorDash, Procore and ServiceTitan. We’ll be scaling even faster in 2025 to keep pace with our customer growth.
How we work: Owner is a remote-first, global company with a home base in San Francisco. For some of our creative teams we prioritize in-person collaboration at our SF HQ. The rest of our employees are distributed throughout the world.
🫵 Why we’re looking for you
Owner.com is looking to hire a Business Development Representative to join our growing revenue team. This role is best suited for people who are passionate about helping small businesses grow, have a track record of sales excellence and are committed to building trusting relationships with restaurant owners.
This role is 100% remote and based in Colombia or Mexico.
💻 The impact you will have
- Partner with our outbound sales team to generate new business, with a focus on restaurant owners in the United States
- Educate yourself daily by reading, listening to podcasts, and learning from your teammates and peers
- Go above and beyond delivering your quota to help your teammates and the company succeed
✅ Minimum requirements
- 6 months - 1 year of experience in software sales, preferably in SMB SaaS
- Consultative, customer-first sales approach
- History of personal and professional excellence
- Lifelong learner mindset and commitment to professional growth and development
- You thrive while working in a fast-paced environment where change is common
- Experience with restaurants (selling to or working in!) is a huge plus
- Reliable high-speed internet connection to support audio conferencing and other online tools
- Proven experience working autonomously in a remote work environment
- Fluent Spanish and English speaker with excellent spoken and written communication skills in both languages
🏆 Pay and benefits
- The starting compensation for this role is the local equivalent of $45,000 USD OTE ($30,000 USD base + $15,000 USD in on-target commissions, uncapped).
