Overview of Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) with a strong background in research and a proven track record in enabling Google Cloud Platform (GCP) sales in the US market. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by conducting market research, participating in lead generation activities, facilitating sales enablement and sales support.  This role requires a blend of research skills, technical knowledge, and sales acumen.

 

Responsibilities

  •  
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct in-depth research on the US market to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze customer requirements and industry challenges to tailor GCP solutions accordingly.
  • Lead Generation:
    • Proactively identify and qualify sales leads through various channels, including online research, networking, and outreach programs.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage lead generation campaigns effectively.
  • Sales Enablement:
    • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide insights that contribute to successful sales strategies.
    • Stay informed about GCP products and updates to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist in the development of sales collateral, proposals, and other materials to support the sales process.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to the sales pipeline.
  • Metrics and Reporting:
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, client engagement, and sales conversions.
    • Provide regular updates on market trends and competitive intelligence.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Business Development Representative with a focus on cloud solutions, preferably GCP.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, GCP services, and associated technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct market research and analyze data to inform sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation.
