The Money Movement Solutions team (MMS) at Visa works on designing, managing, and growing products and solutions for moving money using Visa's networks e.g. Visa Direct, Currency Cloud and B2B Connect. These products and services are typically aimed at commercial entities, including banks, fintechs, remitters, marketplaces, and other organizations. These capabilities support collections, multi-currency accounts, disbursements of P2P and B2B funds. MMS spans across different dimensions of money movement including cross-border transactions, disbursements, money transfers, and more.
.What we expect of you, day to day:
Overall:
Enable the MMS business to be the growth engine for Visa, by driving business growth at 35%+ p.a. over the next 3-5+ years
Build a new business line for Visa from commercial perspective by entering money movement space where Visa has not previously played (e.g., Transaction banking, Cash management, Remittance infrastructure, Asset management, etc), and diversify Visa’s business from the core consumer payments into global cross-boarder consumer and business payment flows and multi-currency solutions
Contribute to development of Commercial plans for MMS in Central Europe
Business Development:
Execute on Annual Average Net revenue target for MMS in Centra Europe (Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland)
Win cross-border and FX business with Traditional banks, fintechs and corporate clients
Responsible for identifying leads with existing clients and new clients for other MMS and Visa solutions
Execute on deal structuring, deal approval, contracting, compliance process client-support, and commercial launch to bring revenue in a timely manner
Win clients smarter by working as One Visa, incl other Visa functions
How:
Work cross-functionally with Visa Account Executives and MMS sales teams
Participate in various trade fairs, and marketing activities
Keep executing across the sales cycle, always thinking about the next-best-action and agreeing it with clients
Manage across the stakeholder map within the client and by involving the right Visa executives
Help the clients overcome barriers internally, by creating business cases, involving solutioning and product for technical engagements
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
• Basic Qualifications:
o Relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of work experience with a PhD
• Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience in the payments or financial services industry is a must
o Self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully selling to financial services companies
o Background in business development preferably at a global or multi-market level
o Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on delivering for clients. Highly skilled in commercial and legal deal structures, and business case building
o Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), and executive presence, must be able to interface with client executives at a C-level
o Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to audiences in a simple way to influence and drive adaption
o Highly analytical, able to run analysis of Visa systems and derive commercial insights to grow clients, and develop business development strategies
o Prior experience in cross-border business payments development is a plus
