Business Development Manager

The Role

As Business Development Manager, You will be marketing and driving the growth of YouGov’s business, selling our exciting and innovative products and solutions. You will be working closely and supported by other internal departments to achieve your sales goal and generate new business for Thailand. 

What will I be delivering?

Being part of Sales team, you will be reporting directly to the Business Development Director (New Business) and will be working towards reaching an individual revenue target by:

  • Actively identify new potential customers to sell our exciting and innovative products and solutions
  • Proactively prospecting, identifying, qualifying and exploring new potential business opportunities through cold calling and networking
  • Actively build good relationships with existing clients, exploring renewals and up-selling opportunities. 
  • Oversee, prepare, and deliver presentations of our solutions to potential clients
  • In charge of your personal target and take ownership in achieving the set-target
  • Working closely with other business unit members to generate end-to-end solutions for your clients
  • To Lead 1 - 2 sales representatives (people - manager responsibility)

What do I need to bring with me?

Demonstrated knowledge and experience

  • Excellent understanding of marketing issues related to consumer brands in Thailand 
  • Minimum 3 years’ of business development or sales experience
  • Sales hunting experience with the mentality of ‘customer-first’ approach

Technical skills and qualifications

  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related disciplines
  • Strong project management experience a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Thai
  • Ability to do client presentations to senior management

Behavioral competencies

  • A self-starter disposition and an entrepreneurial spirit, aspiring and results-oriented individual
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate and work with a high level of autonomy
  • Good listening skills to ensure the client's interest is captured correctly
  • Problem Solver
  • Be able to communicate effectively and being a team player
  • People-Management experience preferred
