WCS Group is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager based in South East England to expand our market presence and foster strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring our full product range is effectively promoted to new and existing clients. Your role will encompass managing client contracts, guiding team members, and achieving sales targets aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Objectives

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing the sales pipeline to meet established KPIs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels to support strategic sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and provide regular performance updates to management.
  • Support and mentor fellow team members as needed.


Examples of industry standards include HSG274 Pt1,2,3, ACoP L8, BSRIA BG29/50, and BS8552.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles within the water hygiene industry, preferably with a strong understanding of L8 regulations.
  • Familiarity with water systems, including Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers, and Closed Systems.
  • Proficient in completing tenders, managing accounts, and self-directed in workload management.
  • Ability to effectively prepare and submit tenders and PQQ applications to company standards.
  • Strong ability to prospect and cultivate new business throughout the UK.
  • Experience in cross-selling and upselling existing client accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate quotations in compliance with industry standards.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining CRM data.
