Business Development Manager, Marine Logistics (Hong Kong)

  • Attract new clients, this includes creating plans to achieve sales targets (Revenue goals and new client acquisitions) set by the company.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. This involves regular communication through phone calls, emails and face-to-face meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.

  • Handle client inquiries, address complaints and ensure customer satisfaction through the logistics process.

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure the smooth execution of logistics services.

  • Negotiate contracts and prices with clients and vendors to ensure profitable deals while meeting customers' requirements.

  • Keep details record of sales activities & client interaction.

  • Analyse market trends and competitors' activities to stay ahead in the industries.

  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders in GML management team including Managing Director, Freight Services Manager and Group head of Marine Logistics.

  • Review the performance if strategic plans and evaluate successes, risks and opportunities.
