LinkedIn’s Business Development team plays a critical role in executing and accelerating LinkedIn’s Product roadmap and strategy. The BD team is responsible for driving growth, engagement, and monetization globally through partnerships. We do so by articulating partner strategies, identifying and executing the right deals, and managing partnerships and strategic initiatives, in collaboration with product and other cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for driving the growth of LinkedIn’s Signals partnerships across LinkedIn’s Marketing and Sales Solutions, across our portfolio of products including Insights Tag, Conversions API and CRM Sync.
The Business Development Manager plays a significant leadership role in LinkedIn’s business and product teams. The person in this role will be focused on developing and executing high impact product and partnership strategies that help LinkedIn customers connect relevant Signals to LinkedIn to maximize their marketing and sales outcomes. This role is entrepreneurial in nature, requiring the ability to translate MarTech and SalesTech ecosystem insights into transformative partnerships opportunities, and working closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Legal, and Marketing to drive results for those partnerships.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies and partnerships for the Signals partner program from conception to launch, establishing clear goals, incentives and operational cadence for the program.
Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams to drive adoption of Signals products
Drive innovation and incubation of new partnerships and use cases with key partners to increase adoption of Signals products at LinkedIn
Establish and maintain strategic partner relationships between LinkedIn and key martech/ salestech partners and relevant industry groups
Leverage relationships & knowledge to bring ecosystem insights to inform LinkedIn strategy and roadmap
Negotiate partnership agreements working with Legal and other cross functional teams to drive to decisions and commitment on deal points
Partner with cross-functional R&D teams to expand signals utilization across sales and marketing use case such as targeting, attribution, optimization, insights, and planning
Leverage data analysis and market insights to develop executive-level business case quantifying the size of prize and value exchange of key partnerships
Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in partnership related role (e.g. Business Development, Partner Management) in a technology company
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an analytical role or responsibilities (e.g. consulting firm, investment bank, corporate M&A/Corporate Strategy or Business Operations) ideally working on product strategy
Direct working experience in one of the following domains: Signals, Identity, Attribution or Optimization
Deep technical understanding of various conversion tracking mechanisms (pixels, javascript, SDK, S2S API) and familiarity with Tag Managers, Marketing Automation and CRM tools
Demonstrated experience managing or structuring complex product partnerships
Demonstrated ability to perform in an entrepreneurial setting, working independently across multiple groups and thriving in a dynamic environment
Strong written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill complex ideas into clear messaging for both C-Suite and technical audiences
Personal values align with LinkedIn core values and ability to collaborate effectively in a win-win fashion with XFN teams and partners

The pay range for this role is $138,000 to $225,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
