About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales of our SaaS workforce development product. You will utilise a variety of channels including phone, webchat, email, and in-person interactions to engage and convert leads into active accounts. Your focus will be on self-generated new business prospects, playing a pivotal role in achieving your own and Team targets. Comfortably making impactful contacts, you will leverage online and multi-contact engagement strategies to showcase our product's value proposition and maximise new business revenue opportunities.


Main responsibilities and duties

  • Contact new prospects and create leads to build your own pipeline through self-generation using knowledge of our market and research (internet, LinkedIn etc).
  • Delivering online demos to New Prospects.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to provide consultation on their workforce development requirements.
  • Describe the product and solution set features and benefits to a high degree combined with a knowledge of educational systems and processes.
  • Closing qualified leads.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to ensure all campaign leads are followed up correctly.
  • Represent CareShield at corporate and training events when required.
  • Work closely with our Client Experience Team for the successful and seamless on-boarding of clients.
