Future Publishing is an international multimedia company that has over 200 brands that span magazines, newsletters, websites, and events in fields such as video games, technology, films, music, photography, home, and knowledge.

Future also operates Future Elevate, which is the distribution of a proprietary turnkey monetization solution that supports online Publishers in their monetization efforts. 

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Developer to join our growing team. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying global new business opportunities, forging strong partnerships, and expanding our company's market presence. Your role will involve conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and developing strategic plans to drive business growth. 

What you'll be doing… 

  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including market analysis, competitor research, and customer needs assessment, with a primary focus on the UK and US markets. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and collaborations. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives. 
  • Prepare and present compelling business proposals and pitch decks to with potential clients 
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms with potential clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to anticipate opportunities and challenges. 
  • Attend networking events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company's network and visibility. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and market analysis to optimize business strategies. 

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve… 

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities with a focus on long term customer satisfaction
  • Solid understanding of market trends, customer needs, and industry dynamics. Knowledgeable about online content monetization and the ad tech ecosystem. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Data-driven mindset and the ability to analyze data for proposals and negotiation 
  • Strong drive and hands-on mindset; ability to own issues and see them through resolution in an extremely fast-paced environment
