The Business Development Manager for new markets drives the Sales & Commercial strategy, builds outstanding relationships with clients and drives revenue for our Sports, Casino & Esports products. You will assist the Head of Partnerships with a variety of innovative projects and support the success of the Catena Media Emerging markets portfolio.
The main objective is to manage and optimise existing deals, build long-term relations with partners and continue to improve deals and performance. You will support in building a sales pipeline and taking new business opportunities to close by monetising Catena’s existing properties and from sub affiliation partnerships.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Manage affiliate accounts and build outstanding relationships with commercial partners
- Increase the number of relevant affiliate/media partnerships
- Maintain excellent relationships with accounts and partners
- Ensure continuous deals optimisation, negotiating CPA, hybrid and revenue share deals
- Create additional revenue by selling media packages
- Interact with other departments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain the sales-related content on our websites
- Provide in-depth reporting, data quality assurance and data analysis
- Work autonomously to reach predefined targets and to drive and increase revenues
- Create dedicated campaigns and (long-term) sales strategies
- Any other ad hoc job-related duties as required
TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
- Interest and passion for Esports and Gaming (including emerging gaming niches)
- Strong understanding of the betting industry, including regulations, operators, and the sports betting markets
- Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven successful track record in sales and account management, with a focus on results
- 2+ years working within the iGaming industry
- Analytical forward-thinking individual, with excellent negotiation and people skills
