Position Overview:
As an AWS & Google Business Development Manager at Zones, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, increasing profit margins, and enhancing partner maturity. You will leverage your deep understanding of AWS & Google and the cloud solutions landscape to identify new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships.
This role will be a key contributor in executing the sales GTM strategy for AWS & Google and the ecosystem of products, solutions, and services.
This role requires the aptitude and communication discipline to develop relationships and collaborate with organizational leaders across the company building a foundation for collaboration and leveraging partner initiatives to contribute to our revenue expansion. This will also require skills in leading and developing others outside of the direct organization towards the growth of Zones’ AWS & Google Revenue, Margin, and Customers. Additionally, this role has a direct influence on the evolution of the company's Cloud GTM strategy in relation to AWS & Google Marketplaces and opportunities transacted through private offers.

What you’ll do as the Business Development Manager, AWS & Google:

Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on AWS & Google, product, services, and Marketplace opportunities

Cultivate strong relationships with AWS & Google counterparts to enhance co-sell engagement

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to increase revenue and margins

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective campaigns and promotions

Provide expert knowledge of AWS & Google products and licensing to customers and internal teams

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics

Quarterly business reviews

Execution and oversight of incentive programs

Weekly update/reporting to Sr. Management on progress/KPIs
What you will bring to the team:
- BA/BS degree in business administration, information technology, marketing or related field or 4+ years of relevant experience

Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the technology sector, preferably with a focus on AWS and/or Google products

Provide weekly executive visibility on AWS & Google sales performance, specifically for Services-led opportunities and solutions, with an emphasis on the field sellers (ATEs, SAs)

Advance and maintain levels of expertise in AWS & Google solutions by attending training, seminars and trade shows to support and service the sales organization and end-user customers

Increase OEM seller contacts; Influence leads and contacts through consistent communication

Drive meaningful engagements and field appointments/ customer visits to increase customer counts

Strong understanding of cloud solutions and the AWS/Google reseller ecosystem

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners

Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $105,000 - $135,000 + bonus.
Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Washington area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
