Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Technology Business Development Lead for our suite of technology products, including JobCall, IDCore, PropData and more. We are building software solutions that solve problems in real estate and beyond using Artificial and Data Driven Intelligence. This leader will have extensive experience and a proven track record of success in SaaS software sales. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at building and nurturing relationships, and preferably understands how tech creates value in real estate. This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth as the first person establishing the sales/business development function.


What you'll do:

  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the multifamily industry, actively prospecting, and building a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, property management companies, and real estate industry players to drive revenue growth and evangelize our offering.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to make informed recommendations for product enhancements and business development strategies.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our PropTech software solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition to clients and prospects.
  • Sales Collateral: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and materials to support business development efforts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts, tracking key performance metrics and analyzing the effectiveness of various initiatives.

What you offer:

  • 7 or more years of high level sales experience including experience in early stage (Seed to Series A) software companies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Deep experience and well networked in the multifamily industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in SaaS software companies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and drive initiatives to capture them.
  • Leadership and team building experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset.

  • This is a remote role based in the Austin Metropolitan area. We get together for team events and working sessions on occasion so we are looking for people who live in or want to live in the Austin, Texas area.
