In the Business Development & Commercial team we are seeking a highly motivated
Business Development Intern
to join our growing team and work from our office in Leiden.
As a BD intern you will be entrusted with key responsibilities that involve two main components, and your approach will play a pivotal role in enhancing our competitive intelligence. Join our Business Development & Commercial team, and together we will master mucosal immunity.
Your role and day-to-day responsibilities will have two main components:
A larger assignment around mapping the competitive environment of Leyden Labs which includes tasks like
Migrating existing competitive intelligence (CI) into our CRM system
Widening the net to provide a more comprehensive view of the competitive landscape and supporting development of a thorough SWOT analysis
Refining process for CI information collection/curation
Providing day-to-day support to the BD and Commercial team which includes competitive intelligence work, working on marketing materials, business development activities etc.

Our current BD & Commercial team consists of 3 people with whom you will be working directly while also being exposed to other team members during these activities. This interdisciplinary approach will be a great learning opportunity for you to get acquainted with the biotech industry and how a scale-up biotech operates.
