GLG’s Japan Business Development team is looking for a skilled Account Manager to deepen and expand relationships within our existing client base in Japan.

The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth by leveraging GLG’s market intelligence services.

With a focus on understanding the unique needs of senior and mid-level professionals at client firms, the Account Manager will be essential in aligning GLG’s range of solutions to maximize client value and engagement.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • GLG’s Japan Business Development team is looking for a skilled Account Manager to deepen and expand relationships within our existing client base in Japan.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth by leveraging GLG’s market intelligence services.
  • With a focus on understanding the unique needs of senior and mid-level professionals at client firms, the Account Manager will be essential in aligning GLG’s range of solutions to maximize client value and engagement.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in account management, or a general sales experience in B2B solutions space or professional services.
  • Proven ability to develop professional relationships with key decision-makers in major Japanese companies.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese
  • A strategic and logical thinker
  • Team-oriented, with a systematic approach to account management and a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
