We are looking for a Business Development Executive, UK- Strategic Key Accounts

About the role

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for signing and launching new business for Rokt’s Strategic Key Accounts Team in the EMEA region. New business on the Strategic Key Accounts team is defined by a predetermined list of prospects as well as partnerships sales in collaboration with select Ecommerce partners.

Based in London, the Business Development Executive will be expected to build and cultivate strategies in the following areas: prospecting, relationship development, pricing, presentation and delivery, negotiations, and signing contracts in order to grow our revenue footprint in the region. It is important that you demonstrate leadership qualities and work in a constructive and collaborative way with both internal counterparts on various teams across the organization, as well as our Clients. A successful BD is able to think critically and implement strategies that deliver ROI, catered specifically to each client.

As an individual contributor, this role is purely focused on creating and closing net new opportunities with success measured by new revenue delivered within the identified Strategic Key Accounts..

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop relationships with key clients
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving company goals
  • Ensure sales pipeline is accurately maintained and forecasted and internal platforms are updated weekly
  • Forecast, lead and deliver sales revenue and profit targets
  • Map client organizations, define key stakeholders and develop outreach plans
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with other departments (Enterprise EMEA and US sales team, Channel team, etc.) to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving company goals
  • Earn trust and work as partner driving growth for clients
  • Liaise strategically with key existing clients to development joint go-to-market selling strategy for partnership sales

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise media sales for Tier 1 accounts
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • A sales leader & subject matter expert and proven experience in Commerce Media within adtech, martech or similar
  • Strong understanding of the performance marketing industry and key client metrics (CPC, CPA, CPL, ROAS, ROI, etc.)
  • Influential connections and relationships within the retail industry, and with major brands & retailers
  • Client-side sales and account strategy experience, across multiple verticals (retail, travel, CPG, finance)
  • Clear, concise and supportive communication skills to support collaboration across all levels of the company
  • Ability to problem solve focused on being solution oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Unquestioned ethics and clarity around doing the right thing for our customers, for your co-workers and for the company
