Our client, a leading medical device company in Sligo is hiring a Business Development Executive. The successful candidate will form part of the manufacturing division team. This is a hunting role for new business, not an account management position, so must have a background in outbound sales hunting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Winning new business for our Client's manufacturing plants in Ireland and North America.
- Researching and identifying target customers.
- Prospecting, lead generation and creating nurture campaigns.
- Qualifying inbound enquiries, and if suitable, developing into a sales opportunity.
- Running end to end sales processes from initial contact to close of deal.
- Collaborating with key internal stakeholders, especially the production and engineering departments, for appropriate deliverability, capacity and costings.
- Attending F2F meetings and building good relationships with prospects.
- Maintaining good data hygiene via our Sales CRM, Hubspot.
- Keeping up to date with new company products and industry trends.
- Preparing quotations for customers and tailored follow ups.
- Review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s).
- Delivering presentations and providing facility tours to prospective customers.
- Meeting sales targets and achieving KPIs.
- Travel to either the U.S or Europe for approximately 2 days once a month.
- Other such duties as may be assigned from time to time by their Manager
