Who You Are
We are looking for a highly driven, networked, organized, and communicative individual with strong business development experience in the digital or mobile advertising industry, to occupy the Business Development Director role. This person will be responsible and accountable for sourcing and onboarding new DSPs and Demand partners to Smaato's omnichannel ad exchange.
This position can be occupied in New York City in a hybrid set-up or filled remotely in one of the following states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.
What You Will Do
Identify, qualify, pitch, and close new business with buyers (DSP) in line with our core strengths & capabilities
Work with the leadership team to define, achieve, and exceed revenue and new business goals
Develop an omnichannel sales strategy that drives accelerated business growth
Continuously prospecting for new business using your existing network of relationships and creating new relationships (we need to see your network during the interview process)
Work closely with the Marketing organization to shape the go-to-market (GTM) narrative and be an expert at articulating the story internally and externally
Manage an entire sales cycle from inception to closure to up-sell including prospecting, discovery, evaluation, proposal, justification, close, and onboarding with Sales Engineering & Account Management
Collaborate with other team members in Account Management, Sales Engineering, and Marketing, and beyond and exceed customer expectations
Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in mobile, CTV, and in-app programmatic buying trends across the ad tech and digital ecosystem
Participate in industry events and assist in developing Smaato’s market presence
Prepare pitch materials as needed, both independently and within existing support processes
Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
