Role Overview
Coupang is looking for a Business Development Director to lead the new partner acquisition effort for our Coupang Partners program. Coupang Partners is the largest affiliate program in South Korea. Starting in 2018 as an ordinary affiliate program to drive traffic and sales, it has grown as a massive growth engine for the business driving billions of dollars annually while allowing partners to effectively monetize. We have built the program ground up including the technical platform that today hosts a massive number of partners ranging from top apps and web publishers to influencers and bloggers. However, we are still in the early stage of growing our partner network, and we’re looking for a seasoned business development professional to take our partner acquisition effort to the next level.
The role is for a BD leader who will define the strategic vision by identifying opportunities to grow and nurture our partner network and putting a structure in the acquisition process, driving the growth of our business while giving back ad revenue to our partner publishers. This person would have an opportunity to manage and coach talented business development professionals.
