Overview: As the Business Developer on our commercial construction team, you will assist in developing and executing regional strategic sales decisions that foster new customer acquisitions and manage commercial construction project from conception to completion. Your efforts will drive revenue growth, business expansion, and increased profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Identifying new business opportunities through direct customer contact, business apps and industry networking.

Building strong relationships with existing and new customers for landscape and hardscape opportunities.

Collaborating with the customer and internal estimating team to deliver seamless proposals.

Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Keeping informed of industry trends and competitor activities

Contribute to the strategies, plans and goals of the North Carolina revenue targets.

Identify not only private construction opportunities but also public construction opportunities.
Project Management:
- Work with the construction team to deliver services according to contract specifications, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly job billings.
- Serve as the main contact and trusted advisor to customers on project installation issues.
- Ensure all jobs are completed according to plans, budget, and deadlines.
- Deliver timely and accurate reports, financials, schedules, and budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in the construction industry.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proven experience in business development within the construction industry
- Strong network of contacts and relationships in the construction sector
- Working knowledge of the landscape construction industry

Strong Project Management experience with a proven track record of delivering projects on budget and on schedule is a plus.
- Strong understanding of estimating and pricing
