The Eurofins BioPharma Services Network of Companies is a first-class biopharmaceutical outsourcing services partner (Contract Research Organization - CRO, Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization - CDMO), working with pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, medical device, and cosmetic clients.
The network covers the whole drug development chain thanks to an international network of laboratories and testing units with global reach, uniform QA systems, and high-quality services.

For the Biopharma Product Testing business in Germany, we are looking for a Business Developer who will contribute to its significant growth. Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing business development strategy in the given territory based on the business strengths and needs unique to the region
  • Strengthening the market position by creating, nurturing, and closing new business relationships to ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales.
  • Screening the market potential by analyzing direct competitors, identifying potential targets, and evaluating opportunities to convert generated leads to clients and bring the new business effectively to the Group.
  • Participating in congresses, seminars, and industry events to increase brand visibility and recognition.
  • Acquiring further market knowledge by identifying and monitoring industry trends, customer drivers, major industry players, and main decision makers.
  • Performing other duties as required and assigned.

Professional background: minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management; preferably selling services.
Skills/abilities: aggressive business development skills with a hunter and winning mentality, drive for results, and proactive and can-do attitude, especially in driving footprint in new areas, with new clients.
Customer-centric approach, ability to establish and nurture internal and external relationships.
Ability to navigate in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly complex environment, to handle ambiguity, and to manage change and uncertainty.
Languages: excellent English. German would be a strong plus.
