The Business Data Performance Analyst will help support our fraud management projects. We are looking for an understanding of data analysis, data manipulation, and reporting. You are proficient in excel (can write advanced macros) and SQL, and able to transform raw data into applicable insights to guide decisions.
You will report to the Fraud Support Leader.
Main Responsibilities:
· Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to fraud detection and prevention.
· Maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to monitor our performance and fraud metrics.
· Use SQL to query databases and extract relevant data for analysis.
· Use Excel to perform data manipulation, complex calculations, and create detailed visualizations.
· Collaborate with teams to understand our requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
· Help develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical methods to detect fraudulent activities.
· Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.
· Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in all reporting activities.
· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and fraud management.
· Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
· Experience as a Data Analyst within fraud management or a similar field.
· Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, power query functions, and data visualization tools.
· Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
· Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
· Knowledge of systems capabilities, software platforms and processes.
· Knowledge of database management principles.
· Knowledge of PC office software and segmentation tools.
· Excellent English, both oral and written communication skills.
