In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Consultant to join our RELEX family in Spain.
The role:
As a Business Consultant you will work in various customer projects. This includes conducting supply chain related analysis from presales phase to supporting implementation projects of RELEX solution for the customer, e.g. by functional configuration of the environment. You may develop towards a deeper expertise in supply chain optimisation to become a trusted advisor for our customers.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Support and lead different aspects of retail and supply chain planning development projects in the fields of demand forecasting, inventory management, analytics, and retail process development
- Gather business requirements from clients, building configurations, and training end-users.
- Collaborating with customers in meeting their business goals
- Work with clients on a consultancy basis to understand and optimize their business processes and identify areas of opportunity to increase sales, reduce costs and maximize the efficiency of in-store operations through optimized product assortments and inventory management
- Perform business analysis and problem-solving activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 2 to 5 years of work experience in consulting, supply chain management, demand forecasting, inventory management, business analytics or another relevant area in retail / consulting industry
- Experience in software implementation and ability to gather requirements, carry out process design, training and user testing support, as consultant or as a customer.
- Excellent academic record in Industrial Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Information Management or other relevant subject expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Availability to travel
What we consider as an advantage:
- Experience in working with a Grocery / CPG / FMCG retailer or supplier
- Experience in pricing and promotional planning, merchandising and category development and store operations.
- Capability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders from end users to C-level
- Entrepreneurial attitude with an interest towards growing the business
- Outstanding work ethic and a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Knowledge of Catalan, Italian, French and/or Portuguese language
