As Business Consultant and Application Manager for our Service Department you will be supporting our ERP-Service Module as part of our Business Process Management Team. You will have the following responsibilities:
- Analysis and optimization of business processes in the course of application support in cooperation with the departments.
- Realization and coordination of software projects, including planning, implementation and follow-up.
- Interface management between internal departments, external service providers and software vendors.
- Collaboration in error analysis and correction in existing applications as well as continuous improvement of the system landscape.
- Training and support of users in the use of the applications.
- Documentation of the applications and the changes made.
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration / economics or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in IT project management as well as in applications such as IFS Service Management, or Dynamics 365 Service, advantageous.
- Alternatively, experience in a service department of a machine manufacturer.
- Experience in error analysis and debugging as well as in dealing with databases and programming languages advantageous.
- Knowledge in process analysis and optimization.
- Ability to work independently, high problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills and at ease in cross-company collaboration in a team.
- Good English skills
