Team overview
The Business Analysis team is helping all General Managers to make their market grow. Depending on the size of your markets, you are usually responsible for 1 to 3 countries. Thus, you are pairing with the local General Manager to define the right strategy for their market.
The team is global, which means that everyone is located in Barcelona, in our HQ, as we want all business analysts to learn from each other, but as a business analyst, you are free to visit the countries for which you are in charge.
What will be your role?
As a Business Analyst, your goal will be both to support and challenge the General Manager you are working with, and the main pillars of your scope will be:
1. Marketplace analysis: digging into all our internal metrics;
2. Growth strategy: defining and developing our growth plan and experiments;
3. Competition intelligence: looking for and analysing how our competitors are growing;
4. Recommendations: make recommendations to grow as fast as possible.
To do so, you will be in charge of setting business analysis frameworks, sharing high standards analysis methodologies and enforcing data best practices. You will also help us go deeper in the understanding of our complex marketplaces with advanced analysis.
You will bring actionable market insights to the company with best-in-class competition intelligence, ground and operational feedback.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
• Either you are a highly talented and motivated junior profile or you have some experience in business analysis, strategy, finance, engineering or equivalent experience (in a startup is a plus);
• You are fluent in French and English and are eligible to work in Spain;
• You are skilled in Excel and SQL (Python is a plus) with an understanding of data structures and visualisation tools;
• Exceptional communication (spoken and written) skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to the targeted audience;
• You're autonomous and proactive;
• You have a strong business mindset;
• You're able to balance multiple projects, deadlines and requests without breaking a sweat (or a tiny bit);
• And if you consider it's mandatory to deliver great work while having fun in your job, you have more chances to fit in ;)
