Position Overview:

As a Business Analyst at Veratrak, you will be an integral part of our small but dynamic team, contributing significantly to the development and enhancement of key products within our portfolio, particularly focusing on The Hub platform. Your role will involve not only defining features but also ideating and designing innovative solutions to address challenges in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners. This is an individual contributor role with ample opportunities to make a substantial impact on our company's growth and success.

You will be responsible for:

  • Full feature specification: Defining key feature & new product specification in line with the Veratrak product value proposition, driving Discovery, research, estimation, and supporting prioritisation within the Verarak Product Team.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, quality, marketing, customer, and sales teams to define and prioritise product features, ensuring alignment with The Hub's value proposition and overall product vision.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand market needs, customer requirements, and industry trends, utilising tools and methodologies to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, facilitating effective communication with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
  • Lead the ideation and design of new features and enhancements, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to propose innovative solutions that address complex challenges in the pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate product roadmap, vision, and strategy, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Define success metrics for new features and initiatives, adopting a data-driven approach to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and customers to enhance the overall product experience.
  • Drive the transformation of product ideas into actionable projects, considering financial implications, marketing needs, and business objectives throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or product manager in a complex business setting, preferably within the B2B or highly regulated industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a strategic mindset
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in product management tools, prioritisation frameworks, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with market research, user interviews, and customer feedback analysis.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred but not mandatory:

  • Experience engaging with senior leadership and stakeholders with B2B clients
  • Command of data analytics and SQL
  • Knowledge of, or demonstrable interest in, B2B supply chain/transportation management software
  • Knowledge of, or demonstrable interest in, healthcare & life sciences and pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of AWS cloud solutions
