What will you be doing in this role?
- Business Analysis: understanding and documenting the as-is analysts’ mode of operation.
- Solution Design: proposing suitable architecture in given technology stack.
- Implementation: providing a Proof of Concept in given technology stack.
- Detailed description of current data gathering / processing / interpretation / visualisation processes.
- Retrieve business rules from existing scripts and/or macros (via interviews and/or reverse engineering).
- Identify data and metadata from existing reports and documents.
- Identify potential reference and master data.
- Propose a data creation model for the data collected by the analysts on a regular basis.
- Propose a curated data model for the curated data for usage in consumption, and distribution.
- Propose transformation processes to move from the data creation model to the curated data model.
- Provide Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for the processes in the technology stack Azure / Workbench / PowerBI.
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Bachelor Degree in IT or related field and 16 years of professional experience in IT.
- At least 5 years of specific expertise in business analysis, requirements elicitation.
- Proven experience of Data Modelling.
- Excellent knowledge of quality assurance and user acceptance support.
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel (functions, macros), MS PowerBI, RDBMS, SQL.
- Good knowledge of MS Visio, BPMN or UML.
- Understanding of unstructured data and NoSQL design.
- Good knowledge of Data Governance and Data Management, respective roles, activities, and lifecycles.
- Certification in Business Analysis (PMI, IIBA).
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Certified Data Modeler (CDM)
- Fluent in English at least at a level C1.
