Right now, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team! In your role, you will be tasked with optimizing a critical process within the insurance sector, specifically focusing on underwriting.
Job description:
- You’ll gather, analyze, and aggregate business and functional requirements.
- You’ll prioritize tracking potential issues by staying on top of the system enhancements.
- You'll monitor the “health” of systems that we use daily.
- You’ll engage in effective communication with technical and product stakeholders.
- You’ll collaborate closely with engineers to test, develop, and employ new technologies in the underwriting process.
- You’ll create detailed guidelines for the development team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of in-depth, hands-on experience in a Business Analyst role or similar position.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Skilled in researching, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions.
- Ability to understand the technical requirements & insurance manuals – analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving approach will be helpful here.
- Solid understanding of technology to link business objectives with software requirements.
