We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our client in Amsterdam. Our client’s mission aims to shape the digital future of the container shipping industry. You’ll play a pivotal role in advancing digital standards by analyzing and optimizing systems, data, and processes. Collaborating with both internal technical teams and external stakeholders, you will facilitate the end-to-end standards lifecycle, from discovery and development to adoption and reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Standards Development & Lifecycle Support: Develop concepts, oversee the discovery process, and manage feature requests from external stakeholders, assessing their value and alignment with strategic goals and working together with a team of Standards and Delivery Owners in refining standards and achieving stakeholder alignment, all while facilitating workshops to align and document standards requirements to relevant stakeholders
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Act as a liaison with ocean carriers, terminals, and solution providers, fostering effective relationships and clear communication to align stakeholders with standards adoption
  • Documentation & Reporting: Draft and manage standards documentation, including transition diagrams and data mappings (e.g., BPMN, UML, ArchiMate, OpenAPI), and contribute to tracking lifecycle progress and outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge and Ecosystem Expertise: Apply your logistics knowledge, especially in maritime logistics, and stay updated on relevant regulatory and technology changes impacting standards
  • Project & Process Management: Leverage project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to efficiently track tasks, facilitate continuous improvement, and contribute to standards-aligned Go-to-Market strategies.
