About the role
Our client is a leading provider of legal services and health care claims data services for the largest health insurance companies across the United States.
We are seeking an experienced Business and QA Analyst who will identify and define problems to deliver business solutions that will impact company-wide. The BQA will also execute test cases as well as create SQL queries. This role strongly emphasizes excellent communication, prioritizing tasks, and the ability to adapt quickly to change.
The main responsibilities/tasks:
Create business requirements, documentation, and user stories that meet user expectations and satisfy business objectives
Create and participate in the testing strategy
Use root cause analysis to identify and document problems
Prioritize solutions based on risk and impact, and validate those potential solutions
Create and run SQL queries to validate QA outcomes of database development
Communicate with a broad range of staff to understand requirements and issues, and share updates
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a business/data analyst or quality assurance role
- Basic SQL
- Experience writing test cases using C# and Angular
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
- Capable of designing a moderately sized software project, putting together a project plan to accomplish it, tracking progress, and executing it with a team
- Able to see the big picture of how systems interact with one another
