So, what’s the role all about?
As a Business Applications Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that major IT initiatives are well-organized and delivered on time. You'll work closely with various departments to translate business needs into technical specifications. Your key tasks will include tracking projects, reporting on progress, and analyzing metrics to keep teams aligned and focused. Additionally, you'll monitor SAS70 compliance, follow best practices, and address potential issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

 How will you make an impact?  

  • Support and organize requirement delivery via documentation, process flows, and user stories for major IT projects.
  • Create cost/benefit analyses to help management assess financial impacts.
  • Collaborate with business units to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and expectations, and report potential conflicts.
  • Identify and report project priority conflicts and issues affecting project delivery.
  • Develop processes and procedures to report project results to management for evaluation.
  • Manage project plans, including scrum meetings, following Agile Development methodologies.
  • Act as a key interface for stakeholders, experts, and the development team to resolve system delivery issues.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and executives while adhering to the company Code of Ethics and policies.

 Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Information Systems, or related field required; MBA and PMP certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT systems and process improvement, with expertise in project management tools and techniques.
  • Results-oriented leader, skilled in driving projects to completion within budget and scope, with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Technical acumen with a quick learning ability, strong leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Visio, and Agile methodologies, with problem-solving capabilities and adeptness at meeting deadlines.
  • Flexible to work on a night shift, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and SharePoint platforms.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with experience managing Agile Development Projects.
  • Experience managing large projects and groups, including customer-facing web projects.
  • Collaborative work experience with software development teams, with a focus on project management and delivery.
