Job Purpose:          
The Business Analyst will work closely with multiple internal teams and external customers to define and clarify project requirements. Working with the internal project development teams, and external development companies, the Analyst will develop requirements documentation, use cases, user stories, workflows, wireframes and mockups to help clarify and communicate requirements and solutions to the appropriate development resources.          
     
Main Duties and Responsibilities:          
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness. 
  • Technology Integration: Experience with system integrations and familiarity with deploying and utilizing Application Programming Interfaces (API).
  • Agile and Scrum: Play a pivotal role in Agile and Scrum project teams, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure efficient project execution. 
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between non-technical stakeholders and technical engineering teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Assist in the development of data models and interface design specifications. 
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, helping the company make data-driven decisions. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance system functionality and overall efficiency. Document current and future state processes. 
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, system diagrams, and technical specifications. 
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure the quality of deliverables. 
  • Facilitate collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources, and development resources. 
Requirements:          
  • 5+ years IT business analysis experience of increasing project size and complexity.  Strongly preferred experience within the life sciences and/or logistics and supply chain industry
  • Bachelor's degree; specialization in IT or Management Information Systems (MIS) preferred
  • Desirable: Experience working with QA and regulatory processes and how these processes impact the SDLC, for example 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance - Computer Systems Validation
  • Strong influencing and analytical skills required
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast pace, dynamic environment
  • Strong Time Management, Organization, Execution, Written, Verbal and Communication Skills
  • Strong collaboration skills required to effectively work across a diverse group including executives, managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME)
  • Ability to understand/dissect organizational culture and tailor communication and processes to successfully navigate the same
  • Knowledge of Integrations and Application Programming Interfaces (API).
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience in leading Agile teams - Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps     
  • Experience working closely with technical engineering teams, understanding software development lifecycles
