What We're Looking For

We are seeking an investment reporting professional with strong Business Analyst background. The ideal candidate is someone with a 5 year experience in investment reporting with a strong exposure to consumer credit analytics. You will have experience in working on analytical platforms used by front office investment functions. You will work closely with front office Quant Team, Portfolio Managers and Data Science organizations to enable built, enhancement and maintenance of proprietary cutting edge investment analytics platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with investment teams to understand business processes, deal economics and strategies. Facilitate requirement elicitations – plan, capture analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirement of analytical builds.
  • Prepare user interface, business process and workflow diagrams to support small requests or large scale implementations. Understand analytical build objectives, coordinate planning activities, own development of acceptance criteria and plan to facilitate UAT
  • Serve as key liaison between front office teams and technology delivery team. Collaborate with peer groups to ideate business needs, craft solutions and communicate to technology teams.
  • Work with Director of Data in Quant Engineering to help design and develop scalable data analytics solutions. Always work as a client advocate for the Line Of Business assigned.
  • Take Ownership of final product built before deployment. This includes UX, functionality as well as data quality, triangulation, pipelines and reliability around it.
  • A successful candidate will be a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in a multitude of domains; but most importantly credit analytics, investment reporting and data infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Masters in Statistics, Analytics, Financial Analytics, Investments, Finance, MBA (With Analytics). A combination of strong financial degree with industry certifications in analytics is highly regarded.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst function for credit analytics organization, Marketplace lending, structured credit house, private credit or trading solutions provider. Exposure to loan portfolio lifecycle is a must.
  • Excellent communication, exceptional analytical, and conceptual thinking skill to work with stakeholders at all levels of the business, gather requirements, and oversee projects from beginning to end.
  • Experience with project delivery of complex enterprise application systems, distributed applications, web applications, and system integration solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL processes. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with tools such as AWS. Hands-on experience programming languages such as Python.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Tableau Certification)

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
