We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead our continuous bank discovery and testing programme to support our business and customers with market insights, lead the institution discovery efforts and to support the team’s product manager and engineers with the successful delivery and maintenance of our software product’s features.
Our ideal candidate will need to understand the technical details of the Yapily API as well as our current integration roadmap. You will lead discovery of existing or new integrations, coordinate testing and validating products/features of existing institutions, creating requirement specifications for key improvements, and ensuring those requirements have been met.
This is an important role for the strategic growth of the company as well as the global expansion of the Yapily integration roadmap. This role offers a great opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of the Global Fintech and Open Banking industry.
Requirements
- Collaborate with Product Managers to conduct ongoing market and institution discovery and analysis, aiming to comprehend diverse market needs, assess coverage gaps, and identify potential product or feature enhancements.
- Carry out detailed discovery on new or existing integrations using bank documentation, API specifications
- Lead the continuous testing program, coordinating proactive institution testing efforts, conducting exploratory testing as necessary, and collecting enhancement requirements based on test outcomes.
- Work closely with the Bank Operations and engineering teams to assist in the QA and validation of new integrations
- Provide support to various teams by clarifying expected product behaviour, investigating complex customer queries, troubleshooting and tracking areas for enhancement
- Work alongside Product Managers to integrate insights from the discovery program into the product roadmap.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Open Banking regulatory landscape across different jurisdictions, leveraging this knowledge to inform future coverage priorities from a technical standpoint.

- Proven experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
- Understanding of financial services and open banking
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
- Experience in eliciting, analysing and documenting functional and technical requirements
- Proficiency in understanding and interpreting technical documentation, particularly related to banking APIs and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and tools is preferred (such as Postman)
- Ability to effectively analyse problems and opportunities, build a shared understanding across the team and formulate possible solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to understand business and technical concepts & to communicate these effectively to all audiences
- Experience working with AI tools is a plus
