Everbridge: a fast-growing global provider of SaaS-based critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, is actively seeking a proactive and result-driven Business Analyst to join our team. This remote, home-based position can be located anywhere in Hungary.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization and technology solutions. You will play a key role in streamlining operations, ensuring the alignment of technology with business needs, and supporting the delivery of solutions that improve efficiency and drive business success.
What you'll do:

Business Process Analysis: Work with business stakeholders to analyze and document current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions for optimization.

Requirements Gathering: Lead the gathering and documentation of business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate specifications for projects.

Solution Documentation: Collaborate with business systems and IT teams to document system solutions and process improvements. Translate business needs into technical specifications.

Project Support & Management: Assist with project planning and execution, track project milestones, and support project managers in delivering on time and within scope.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data trends and provide insights to inform business decisions. Support the creation of dashboards and reports that measure business performance and system effectiveness.

System Testing & Quality Assurance: Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure that system solutions meet business requirements and are free from errors.

Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, collecting feedback from stakeholders and identifying areas for further optimization in systems and business processes.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project updates, issues, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and business teams to implement technology solutions that support business objectives and improve organizational efficiency.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on business process analysis and requirements gathering.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions.
- Experience with business analysis methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in deliverables.
