In this role, the Business Analyst Co-op will work directly with the Senior Business Manager to provide Financial stewardship and Strategic advice to all key game studios and product leaders. You will have the opportunity to add value through your unique and fresh perspective.
In this role, you can expect to focus on:
- Business Performance
- Design, develop and maintain performance tracking tools on Key Performance Indicators for Kabam’s commercial games
- Support the game teams in identifying and analyzing variances against Budget and historicals
- Assist with the preparation of materials for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management presentations
- Prepare benchmark analysis of relevant competitor games
- Strategic Foresight
- Compile reports on key market trends in our target markets
- Perform comprehensive analysis about established and newly released games in the relevant genres (go-to-market, distribution, business model, business performance..)
- Present major findings to key stakeholders
- Financial Modeling
- Help grow and automate a robust set of Forecasting tools and models
- Evaluate ROI of business initiatives to aid decision making
Your background includes the following:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or experience in a related field
- Affinity towards the video game business
- Working knowledge in the following areas would be an asset: business intelligence, data analysis and reporting, project management
- Proficiency in SQL is a plus
- Other required experience: Google or Microsoft Office suite for data analysis and visualization
- Curious, enthusiastic, positive working attitude
- Strong Business Acumen
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Investigative skills and ability to combine information from multiple sources to form insights
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful
