Requirements
Role - Business Analyst
Location - Winnipeg office 3 days per week preferred, remote in Canada may be possible too.
Contract type - Fixed term for 18 months
The Civica Canada Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements, development of functional specifications, scope documents and assist in the preparation of development cost estimates for new initiatives spanning multiple product lines.
The Business Analyst acts as a liaison and facilitator amongst the variety of stakeholders, building positive relationships across the organization, and have a “find a way” attitude in working with the customer, as well the Technology, Sales, and Client Services teams to identify, document, and implement our software solutions.
This position requires an individual who can work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. The successful candidate will be excited about answering the question asked, but also the question that was not; seeing the bigger picture to make cross-functional and sector connections.
EXPERIENCE
• Candidates will possess a minimum of three years’ practical experience as a dedicated business analyst in a technology-focused organization or company.
• Experience working in software industry as a business analyst considered a strong asset.
• Experience working in the health software sector in an analyst capacity is considered an asset.
