We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst- 4769 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of business processes. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and facilitating the implementation of effective solutions

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
    • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive requirements.
  2. Process Mapping and Optimization:
    • Map current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement optimized processes that enhance efficiency and productivity.
  3. Solution Design and Documentation:
    • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions that meet business needs.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Communicate effectively to ensure alignment between business objectives and project deliverables

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst of Software development projects.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, data modeling, and requirements elicitation
  • Exhibit excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills for effective interaction with both business users and technical teams.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in visual modeling languages, such as UML, for system design and analysis.
  • Possess a strong understanding of web services (REST, SOAP) and data formats (XML, JSON). Capable of defining new schemas or modifying existing ones.
  • Have familiarity with SQL and a solid understanding of database relationships to support data analysis and integration tasks.
  • Be well-versed in Agile methodology to contribute effectively in Agile project environments.
  • Maintain excellent collaboration within the EProcurement - PreAward team to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities to address and resolve complex issues.
