Job Description :
- The Business Systems Analyst position is a functional analyst role within UEI’s IT department. The BSA will be responsible for delivering and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite and related application lifecycle projects for Operations and Service. Our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) footprint includes – Financials, Manufacturing, Order Management, Procurement, Quality, Advanced Pricing, Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning and Oracle Cloud EPM (ARCS, FCCS)
- The BSA will partner with end users to understand their business functions and processes as well as define, develop, configure, and test software solutions meeting the needs of the Operations and Service organizations. Additionally, the BSA will lead the process improvements in Oracle EBS and related applications, improve existing practices and address new business requirements.
- This position is required to support Americas and Mexico region so sometimes there is need to be available in US & Mexico time zone, especially during month end period close.
- A highly motivated individual who works with the other IT team members and Business Users on the technical and functional requirements definition, design, implementation, and maintenance of EBS applications.
Responsibilities :
- Provide Functional support on Oracle Manufacturing modules.
- Perform Requirement gathering, Fit-Gap Analysis, and various Manufacturing functional setups, UAT, SIT, Go-Live and Post Implementation Support.
- Perform hands-on configuration of Oracle EBS modules to meet business requirements and design.
- Ability to coordinate and support period close processes and assist business users with month end reconciliation efforts.
- Analyze and document business practices for Discrete Manufacturing processes, Service and Operations, and implement business process improvements using best practice techniques.
- Create/execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.
- Create, manage, and perform system testing activities for releases and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot production issues, resolve user problems, and escalate when necessary.
- Perform application and process-specific training activities to educate technical and non-technical users of the solutions you configure and support.
- Document system configurations and system application test protocols, in support of quality compliance validation.
- Responsible for proper testing of newly or enhanced developed software solutions, to take these towards the business stakeholders for Key User testing.
- Assisting the internal stakeholders in testing the solutions provided, to drive this through to implementation.
- Works with Internal Audit and supports SOX compliance requirements related to auditable applications.
Qualifications / Skills :
- 7+ yrs of extensive experience in Support & Implementation of Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules
- Expertise in WIP, BOM, Inventory, Engineering, MSCA, WMS, QA, Costing, Planning.
- Solid understanding of functional processes and configurations.
- Experience on SCM or Supply Chain Planning (Supply Planning, Demand Planning and GOP) is strong plus.
- Prepare AIM, AUM documentation like BR100, MD50, User Manuals, etc.
- Experienced in writing basic SQL queries.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and related processes.
- Excellent presentation/communication skills.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent work experience
