Role Summary
The Brand Leader will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, long-term performance goals, and growth strategy for our portfolio of brands. This role involves leading a cross-maxtrix approach to brand management that includes overseeing the Director of Growth, who directs the brands digital marketing efforts, and collaborating closely with the Marketplace Manager to drive success across Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce channels. Additionally, the Brand Leader will partner with the Retail team to support the launch and growth of products in traditional brick-and-mortar settings.
With a focus on new product launches, international expansion, and profitability, the Brand Leader will have direct P&L responsibility and will work to maximize brand performance across all channels. The role requires a visionary with strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and experience in cross-channel brand management. A Project Manager dedicated to supporting the Brand Leader’s initiatives will also report to this position.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Collaborate with the Director of Growth to ensure digital marketing strategies are aligned with the brand’s overall vision and performance goals.
- Work closely with the Marketplace Manager to optimize brand performance across Amazon, Walmart, and other online marketplaces.
- Partner with the Retail team to drive successful product launches and support brand positioning within brick-and-mortar channels.
- Set and manage long-term performance goals and KPIs, ensuring they align with the brand’s growth targets and P&L objectives.
- Lead the strategic planning process for new product launches, international market expansion, and growth initiatives.
- Guide cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution of brand strategy across digital marketing, retail, and marketplace channels.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations with the Director of Growth and other team members, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
- Analyze financial reports and brand performance data to make strategic adjustments, ensuring the brand’s financial goals are consistently met or exceeded.
- Act as the primary point of contact for brand strategy, performance updates, and growth initiatives with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Brand Development: Define the long-term brand strategy, growth goals, and performance metrics for each assigned brand.
- Digital Marketing Leadership: Manage and mentor the Director of Growth, ensuring alignment in digital strategy and optimizing campaign performance.
- Product Launch and International Expansion: Lead the planning and execution of new product launches and geographic expansion initiatives to drive brand growth.
- Marketplace Collaboration: Partner with the Marketplace Manager to enhance brand visibility and profitability on Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce platforms.
- Retail Partnership: Collaborate with the Retail team to ensure a cohesive strategy for launching and scaling products through brick-and-mortar channels.
- P&L Management: Own brand-level P&L responsibility, overseeing budget allocation, revenue forecasting, and expense management to ensure profitability.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Manage a dedicated Project Manager to streamline brand initiatives, ensuring efficient execution and consistent progress towards brand goals.
- Performance Analysis and Optimization: Use data-driven insights to assess brand performance, refine strategies, and drive continuous improvement across all channels.
Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in brand management, marketing, or a related field with experience in P&L management, digital marketing, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, including experience managing cross-functional initiatives and setting strategic direction.
- Market Expansion Expertise: Demonstrated success in launching new products, expanding brands internationally, and managing a variety of channel strategies.
- Cross-Channel Collaboration: Strong track record of partnering with teams managing online marketplaces and retail channels to drive cohesive brand strategy.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of P&L management, with a history of delivering profitable brand performance.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing brand performance metrics, financial data, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Ability to pivot strategies based on market dynamics, explore emerging channels, and implement innovative approaches to brand growth.
- Location: Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, with occasional travel as needed.
