Bolt is on a mission to democratize commerce. We relentlessly prioritize our retailers—putting their brands front and center while enabling frictionless shopping at any touchpoint in the customer journey. At the center of it all is our rapidly growing universal shopper network—Bolt merchants such as Deckers, Saks OFF 5TH, Revolve, and Casper can access tens of millions of shoppers, offering them a best-in-class checkout.

And revolutionizing ecommerce is only half of the equation—we’re also transforming the way we work. At Bolt, we have created a work environment where people learn to drive impact, take risks and make big bets, and grow from feedback, all while feeling welcomed and accepted for who they are. Come join us on the adventure today!

Please note: This is a 9-12 month contract position. We are only considering candidates who reside in Mexico and Central/South America at this time.

This role is ideal for a mid to senior-level designer with experience in in-house creative teams (though agency experience is also welcome!). You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects—including events, social media, campaigns, and web design—collaborating across teams to bring our brand to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant design tools.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Experience designing for print media, including event signage, brochures, and OOH campaigns, ensuring high-quality production and brand consistency across physical assets.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.

What would set you apart

  • Experience working in both in-house and agency environments.
  • Familiarity with web design principles and user experience considerations.
  • Ability to think strategically about brand development and positioning.
  • Experience with motion graphics or animation.
  • Passion for staying current with design trends and applying them creatively.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in brand design (in-house experience preferred).
  • Candidates must possess fluent English language skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing multi-disciplinary design work.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other design tools.
  • Experience working within fast-paced environments.

This is a maternity cover position, starting in November, and will run for approximately 9-12 months. For candidates located outside of the US or Canada, this role will require flexibility in working hours to collaborate effectively with our US-based team. Adjusting your schedule to align with US time zones will be key to ensuring smooth communication and teamwork across projects.
