As an intern on the chassis actuators team, you will work cross-functionally to design, build, and test novel braking solutions for current and future Zoox vehicles. Your work will be hands-on and will include creating project timelines, designing 3D models in CATIA, creating 2D drawings with appropriate GD&T, managing the creation of prototypes, and validating your designs.
Technical Qualifications & Language Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in engineering, physics or a similar discipline
- Prior internship experience, participation in FSAE, Baja, or similar extracurricular activities.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulic systems
- CAD & CAE experience
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
