JOB TITLE: Bowser Driver
REPORTING TO: Duty Manager
LOCATION: London Heathrow Airport
SHIFT HOURS: 40 hours per week shifts (4 on and 2 off)
HOURLY PAY RATE: £14.40 per hour
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
You will be required to drive airside and operate aircraft water waste and water systems. This position will involve carrying out vehicle safety checks, ensuring the water vehicles are regularly sterilized and conform with water audits being carried out. There will also be a large amount of manual handling which is physically demanding. Working as part of the team you will deliver an excellent service to the airlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Deliver the highest standard of customer service consistently
· Operating water & waste bowsers safely around the airport
· Servicing the water & waste for inbound and outbound flights
· Liaising with the cleaning department to react to associated requests
· Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
· Always maintain a safe working environment
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Excellent communication skills at all levels
· Excellent time management and flexible attitude
· Have a calm, friendly and professional manner
· Excellent organisation skills
· Ability to quickly and accurately react and assess any given situation and instigate corrective action
· A great team player
Essential
· A current, valid, full clean UK Driving License D1
