About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented book cover designer for their mystery thriller novel. The project requires creating a minimalist cover in a Korean/Japanese style, featuring an Asian woman with multiple personalities. This opportunity is ideal for junior to mid-level designers who can work remotely and deliver a compelling visual representation of the book's themes by the end of October.

Responsibilities:

• Create a visually striking, minimalist book cover design in Korean/Japanese style
• Conceptualise and execute a design that effectively portrays an Asian woman with multiple personalities
• Collaborate with the author to understand and incorporate the book's themes and tone

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in book cover design, particularly in minimalist Asian-inspired styles
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work, especially designs featuring human subjects and abstract concepts
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
• Understanding of current book cover trends, particularly in the mystery thriller genre
