Franklin Printing/ 2nd Shift Bindery Assistant/ Farmington, Maine
Franklin Printing is seeking a 2nd Shift Bindery Assistant. In this position, the Bindery helper performs a variety of simple hand and machine operations, such as gathering, folding, stapling, and binding.
Requirements of the Bindery Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing: 5 years (preferred)
- Ability to read, write and understand work orders
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Self-motivated and problem solver

Responsibilities of the Bindery Assistant:
- Assist Operators
- Operating bindery equipment to bind printed materials like books, magazines and pamphlets
- Loading and catching materials on various equipment, shrink wrapping and boxing, hand collating
- Keeping work area clean, with a safe operating area
- Basic equipment maintenance
