The BIM Coordinator at
e.construct will oversee the BIM workflow and ensure seamless collaboration between various disciplines involved in our projects. This role is critical in developing and implementing BIM strategies, facilitating communication, and ensuring the integrity of the BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive BIM Execution Plan tailored to each project's requirements.
- Establish protocols and standards for BIM processes and workflows.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as the central point of contact for BIM-related issues and coordination.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between teams, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings to ensure all parties are aligned and informed.
- Model Reviews and Clash Detection:
- Coordinate regular model reviews to assess accuracy and completeness.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts early in the design process.
- Ensure that the BIM models are up-to-date and reflect the latest project developments.
- Data Management and Quality Control:
- Manage and maintain the integrity of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all BIM deliverables meet the required standards.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM coordination or a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
