We are looking for a candidate who loves admin work and knows how to recruit Independent Contractors.

  • Recruits sufficient Independent Contractors to service City Wide’s janitorial and non-janitorial service accounts.
  • Assists in IC recruiting activities – online postings, e-mail advertising, direct mail advertising, and social media activities to ensure a consistent flow of new Independent Contractors candidates.
  • Conducts the initial vetting/screening of all prospective Independent Contractors – in office, at career fairs or remote locations.
  • Participates in the Contractor Committee, by scheduling events, following up on tasks and communication of actions to the operations team.
  • Assists in the coordination monthly Independent Contractor pay day events with the Operations team.Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
  • Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)
  • High School Diploma
  • Prior office administrative experience and/or recruiting, or similar experience, highly desired
  • A self-starter with attention to detail and follow-up
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relation Management (CRM) and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) a plus
  • Proficient with using social media to promote/recruit
  • High school diploma required

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage of $20/hour
  • Mileage reimbursement up to $600/month
