The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Bilingual Manager, Learning & Development, to join our People and Culture team.
Reporting to the Director, Learning and Organizational Development, the Bilingual Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for developing and implementing learning and development strategies and programs. This role will focus on optimizing the employee development experience throughout their career journey at Aviso. You will develop strategic partnerships with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to provide advice and support towards achieving business results through quality training.

What your day looks like:
- Consult with HRBPs and all levels of management on enterprise L&D initiatives, including department-specific training needs, the employee education assistance program, and management of employee development requests
- Work closely with HRBPs and L&D teams to identify individual and group development opportunities by defining, developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies to improve business effectiveness
- Research, design, manage, and deliver enterprise-wide development programs to meet all levels of the organization
- Work closely with Senior Leaders of HR and Talent teams to develop organizational and leadership competencies
- Gain cross-functional support for key objectives and priorities through collaborative relationships
- Design cross-functional experiences to accelerate development for targeted talent pools
- Maintain all internal Academy programs, including employee curricula and inventory of resources and tools
- Manage special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Your experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Education or Human Resources Management and Certifications in Training or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience leading L&D initiatives is required
- Experience in front end analysis and learning design methodologies, including asynchronous online design and development is required
- Experience in LMS management and reporting, content development, platform delivery, and impact measurement is required
- Experience developing job-function specific, technical, and leadership training is required
- Experience in vendor selection and management is required
- Strong initiative to take on projects with time-driven deadlines and work through to completion is required
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels is required
- Proven ability to navigate through ambiguity and to quickly adapt to changing priorities is required
- Strong analysis and problem solving is required to identify issues, interpret data, and provide recommendations is required
- Financial services industry experience is an asset
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and French are required

Salary
This position is posted with an expected salary range of $103,000 - $131,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
