Diego Beekman Mutual Housing Association is seeking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team located in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you will provide support to designated department with daily administrative procedures and special projects.
This position is offering a pay rate of $31.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide office support, including: maintain files and order maintenance supplies and handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Receive, enter and ensure that work orders are entered promptly and accurately, especially for time-sensitive repairs such as violations, HQS, and court stipulations.
- Provide customer service and quality control for all maintenance actions
- Schedule and coordinate all Preventive Maintenance Inspections and Annual Inspections.
- Track due dates for HQS work orders and Certifications of Completed Repairs and provide copies to Maintenance Supervisor at least 5 days prior to the certification due date.
- Track court stipulations to ensure that access is attempted on all access dates.
- Provide copies of all completed court stipulation work orders to the Assistant Manager.
- Report all instances of no access to the Maintenance Supervisor and Assistant Manager.
- Review all completed work orders and issue any lease violations and charges for damages.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and apply initiative.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a business-related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience.
