Bilingual Customer Service Associate (Mandarin & English)

Our Company: ISN was established in 2001 and is a global leader in contractor and supplier management. We work closely with a variety of household-name clients in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East to connect them with safe and reliable contractors and suppliers and incorporate a level of due diligence in the contractor management process.

The Bilingual Associate helps clients using ISN's new subsidiary product, Transparency-One, to map and manage their extended global supply chain by connecting suppliers with Transparency-One's networking platform. In English and Mandarin, you will assist suppliers with creating their accounts, sharing their information and using the Transparency-One platform. You will proactively engage with suppliers to share best practices, assist with client requests, and enhance supplier relationships with their clients.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contact pre-qualified suppliers to convince them to commit to the transparency approach
  • Collect subscription fees or renewals
  • Complete support for suppliers by recording data on the Transparency-One platform and the CRM
  • Provide customer support in the use of the platform's functionalities
  • Assist Project Managers for the analysis of data collected on the platform and the monitoring of project progress
  • Proactively service and support Transparency-One clients
  • Conduct training on products via phone, web based and face-to-face meetings
  • Participate in the implementation of sales and marketing projects
  • Proactively analyze customer service processes and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
  • Research and develop various resources and reference documents for clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
  • Bilingual (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail applications
  • Demonstrated personal initiative
  • Proficient presentation skills
  • Solid analytical and problem solving ability
  • Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility 
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
